That's o.k., though. I'm relatively sure that no one reads this and therefore, no one has noticed. :)
I just finished watching Julie & Julia. Cute movie. Not going to be one that I buy and watch religiously, but it was nice to fold laundry to while Gabriel slept. Amy Adams did a nice job of not being a ditz for once. (If anyone DOES read this and Amy Adams has other movies out where she is NOT a ditz, I apologize. She just usually plays kind of a ditzy girl.)
Anywho... the point of the movie kind of inspired me. Its going to be a long winter here in the North Country. So I've decided that I need something to do. Especially since I dis-enrolled Gabriel from Kidnastics and Jerry will have the car most of the time... I will be BORED!
I like cooking... but not THAT much. Yay for Julie & Julia to love French cooking, but I'm just not that fond of the French and my cooking skills are limited. I can make a Pampered Chef or Rachael Ray recipe...well... some Rachael Ray recipes... but still, I'm not that into cooking.
I AM, however, that into knitting... when I have the time. And because of my love of knitting and yarn, I have decided to make this blog about my progress in.... drum roll please... Kira, you're going to LOVE this one...
ACTUALLY FINISHING KNITTING PROJECTS!
Occasionally, I finish things. Especially, if there is a tiny baby involved. Although, Gabriel's blanket still needs the ends weaved in, baby Sophia's blanket is about 6 months late and Babbie Girl's sweater never got finished. (Although, I plead pattern error in Babbie's and I need an advanced knitter to tell me what the heck I did wrong.)
That being said, I will take pictures of my projects and post about my progress... or lack thereof... and maybe other things. But here's the goal. Take the yarn that is in bins in the closets and DO SOMETHING WITH IT! And no... plural closets was not a typo. I have more than 1 closet. I will take pictures in a bit. After I take care of that buzzer and put the casserole in the oven.
Side note... Julie & Julia did inspire me enough that I felt guilty ordering a pizza for dinner. That and the fact that pizza delivery gets stinkin' expensive. I mean, really... So we are having Tuna Noodle Casserole from my Mom's recipe collection. I was, however, apparently not inspired enough to remember to preheat the oven, so I'm waiting.... LOL
Pictures of the closets... and my 1 project tomorrow. (Ha! I just said 1 project like I was serious. There are many projects... just 1 active one!)
More tomorrow.
