Verse of the Year

Make me know your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:4-5

What I am thankful for...

After God's mercy and grace, which I thank Him for every day... here's my list long list of "holiday thankfulness"... ;)

1. A healthy family. Read my last post if this confuses you. ;)

2. A husband who is willing to leave us, run the risk of being killed and do a job that most won't do just so that we have food, shelter and Gabriel doesn't get stuck in daycare.

3. A husband who has survived his first deployment and is humble enough to do the dishes every night.

4. A husband who prays over us every night as we put Gabriel to bed.

5. My familiy at home. :)

6. Friends who were willing to answer the phone in the middle of the night for the last 2 years. ;) (I don't think I called too late, though, since I was so stinkin' tired that I went to bed around 9 most of the time! Ha, ha!)

7. The internet that keeps us in contact as a family when he's gone and with our family and friends at home all of the time.

8. People who pay taxes that pay my husband. :)

Have a happy Thanksgiving every one!! :)
