We've been in Indiana almost a week. We left over a week ago, but had a pitstop in Pennsylvania. The Boy is getting thoroughly spoiled and he's loving every minute of it. The first week home is going to suck.... but its worth it. :)
He did really well on the drive. I was surprised. We got up the first day at 3 a.m., got the boy up at 3:45 and were on the road by 4:15ish. The goal was that he would sleep for the first few hours of the trip. Boy were we wrong. He slept for 20 minutes at about 10 a.m. I have to say, though, he did really well for not sleeping. We got to Aunt Gaye's about Noonish and he went down for a nap. It kind of worked out and if Jerry and I hadn't been so tired and cranky, we'd do it again. However, Mommy & Daddy didn't handle getting up that early to drive so well sooooo.... anywaaaaayyyyyy.... lol :)
We're having a good time. We've gotten to see almost everyone we want to see and hopefully we'll see the rest before we leave. So far it looks like we won't have to leave early. 30% chance of snow fall most of next week in NY, but that's not much for them. Plus, by the time we get up there on the 2nd, they should have everything cleared off. They're pretty good at it.
I'm getting told that Gabriel smells. I guess that whole "Grandma likes to help with the kids" thing only goes so far these days. LOL Have a Happy New Year everyone!
