Wouldn't you know...

As soon as I wrote the post about the Verse of the Year and emailed Audrey to tell her I was going to be doing better on the daily quiet time challenge, I slept in and didn't do my quiet time for 2 days.  :(  I could blame the weather or the fact that I haven't been sleeping well or even the Boy, but its my fault.  So this morning I was up and it was done before Gabriel got up. 

On a lighter note, I managed to have a whole conversation with Gabriel the other day.  It was nice.  He came to the gate while I was working in the kitchen.

G: "Doosh, doosh"
M: "Doosh?"
G crawls under the table and gets his sippy cup, hands it to me and says "Doosh".
M:  "Do you want Juice?"
G: "Peesh!"  (Please)
M: "O.k." and I get more juice
G: "Bye, bye!"

A whole conversation and I was able to get him something he needed without any kicking, crying or screaming.  It was nice!

Well, that's about all.  G and I haven't left the house since Sunday.  Actually, G went with Daddy to game stop Monday night, so he's been out more than I have.  No car + weather = Melissa is a hermit.  LOL  At least we're saving money since I'm not shopping!
