Verse of the Year

Make me know your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:4-5

Home again, home again...

We're back to Siberia.  Its cold.  We didn't end up in the ditch on I-81 like a lot of people did, though, so I am grateful for that.  The Boy yelled "bye bye" to the New York State Troopers as we passed a particularly bad section of 81 that had about 5 cars off to the sides.  He cracks me up.  Then he saw the tow trucks and started yelling "beep beep!"  At least he was happy.

On a funnier note.  Every time Gabriel started to get fussy... we'd pass a Semi and he'd take a break from fussing to yell "beep beep!"  Then he would go back to fussing.  It was kind of amusing!  "We take a break from this fit to bring you 'talking to the semi trucks.'"  LOL

Gabriel did amazingly well on the trip.  I was really impressed!  He needed very little entertaining since he is fascinated with trucks.  I really thought that he'd get tired of it after 2 days, but right about the time the semis got boring, we saw snow plows!  Sweet!

On a side note... those of you paying taxes in Pennsylvania should all write your state government.  Instead of a digital sign on I-79 that just says "Winter Weather Conditions", they should try a SNOW PLOW!  I can look outside and tell that its winter.  It would have been nice if they had plowed!  We dubbed it the Captain Obvious Sign.  At least New York's road signs say "Snow plows drive at 35 mph."  Now that's useful information.  I'm just sayin'.

O.k. my crazy son wants me to play with him before I put him to bed!  :)
