Verse of the Year

Make me know your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:4-5

A few wintery things...

We let Gabriel go out in the snow last night.  It was 12 degrees and that's decent in the North Country, so out he went for about 10 minutes or so.  Not too long, but we figured out that he hadn't been outside the house in almost 3 weeks.  Nice!  Goooood parents!  Between illnesses and weather, it just didn't happen.  I'm sure he'll survive, though!

Gabriel is learning to play video games with Daddy.  Well, Gabriel's controller is not hooked up, so not really, but he thinks he's playing and he loves it!  He's only allowed to play the driving game and Daddy turns off the people talking so that we don't learn to say bad words.

It could be the weather and being stuck in the house, but screaming fits are becoming pretty common too.  This time, Mommy was trying to take a picture of the nice new shirt that Grandma sent.  As you can see... it didn't really happen.  The more Mommy took pictures, the madder Gabriel got.  Sorry, Grandma!

Gabriel is also learning to pick up his toys.  Every night at bedtime, he runs up and turns off the t.v.  Then he and Daddy pick up all of his toys. The other day, he put his toys on the couch for no apparent reason.  So Mommy vaccuumed!  Ha!

That's about all that we're doing right now.  Like I said earlier, between illnesses and weather, we're not getting out much.  Today it is -6 with a high of only 6.  :(  Welcome to the North Country!  We have winter followed by a few weeks of "not winter".  Ha, ha!  Oh, well... we can survive this for a few more years!
