Verse of the Year

Make me know your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:4-5

Where did the 5 Things go?

Good question!  I totally forgot about them until I was reading Kendra's simple woman's daybook entry for the week.  Oops...

1. What Bible verse is on my heart for this week?

Well, I have several that I've been reading.  I finally bought a ring of ruled index cards and I write them on an index card when they touch my heart.  The last one was...
I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake;  And I will not remember your sins.
Isaiah 43:25
2. What am I grateful to the Lord for?

A husband who attends church with me and loves the Lord.  (Even if he doesn't shave on Sunday when I would like him to.  Attitude, Melissa!  Attitude!)

3. What am I praying about? (If its too personal to me or someone else, I've always got Obama and military leaders to pray for! Ha!)

Praising the Lord that Peggy is doing well and that my step-daughter finally got her leave date and job assigngment from the Air Force.  Then I'm praying that my parents' move goes smoothly and my Mom doesn't lose her mind this week.  ;)

4. What is something I am going to attempt to accomplish this week?

Housework... Dude...

5. What is 1 thing that I'd like to teach Gabriel this week?

To listen BEFORE time-outs and spankings commence.  I know... I know... patience.  He's almost 2.  Seriously, though... I think I'm getting tennis elbow from spanking him.  *sigh*

Have a great week everyone!  Happy Easter!
